Ride Details

Where – Start/Finish at Princess Park, Nixon Street, Shepparton – Click Here to see a map

When – 11th of September 2016 with registrations from 6:00 am

What – Three ride options:

180 km circuit, including a climb through the Strathbogies departing 7.00 am – registrations from 6.00 am

115 km circuit, including a loop of the Dookie race circuit, departing 8.30 am (The Dookie Loop is optional, reducing the ride by about 15 kms) – registrations from 7.00 am

50 km gentle circuit, departing 9.30 am – registrations from 8.30 am


180 km – $100 ($110 for entries on the day)

115 km – $100 ($110 for entries on the day)

50 km – $75 ($85 for entries on the day)

(Web site entries are preferred. Registration on the day will be available at an extra cost of $10 cost per entry. EFTPOS facilities will be available at the start finish line)

Overview:  These rides are the first of the endurance season. The rides are not races but are meant to be challenges.  No places are recorded, times kept or trophies awarded.  The 50km and 115 km rides are basically over flat terrain while the 180 km ride includes a 14 km climb through the Strathbogie Ranges.  Training for all three events is neccessary, especially the 180km event. You should have ridden at least half each distance previously.  A minimum speed of 25 km per hour is expected.

On road support: Ambulance,  bike repair van  &  sag wagon

Hot Showers: Male and female showers available at the Start/Finish

Meals:  Complimentary hamburgers and sausage sizzle, fruit, soup, rolls, salads and tea and coffee provided for riders at the finish line and food and drinks provided at stops throughout the ride
